Whether you’re just browsing for information or would like to know a particular business, organization, or individual better, the best way to go in a website is their “About Us” page.
But what makes an About Us page creative and engaging? Albert Costill shares his answers on search marketing news site Search Engine Journal:
For starters, it should be informative. It doesn’t always have to tell the whole story, but it should at least provide people with an idea of who and what you are. Besides that, it should contain social proof, testimonials, and some personal information that viewers can relate to such as education, family, etc. It also wouldn’t hurt to make sure that it’s also responsive, since more people are surfing online on mobile devices.
