The Benefits of Local Marketing to Gas Stations and Convenience Stores [Search Engine Journal]
Businesses definitely benefit from Digital Marketing, and gas stations and convenience stores are not an exemption. As Melih Oztalay pointed out on the search marketing news site Search Engine Journal:
When it comes to deciding where to fuel up, consumers are using mobile devices to make split-second decisions based on these factors: which gas stations show in search results, if the local listings include marketing materials, and if their ratings and reviews make them more appealing than the gas station across the street.
This means in a competitive market of gas stations, store owners have to keep up with their marketing efforts.
This is also the reason Melih shares why mobile search is crucial for gas stations and convenience stores. However, this technique is also applicable to any local businesses or franchise that features consumable space such as fast food, coffee or business centers.
